Our Little Girl is five. Happy Birthday Anak!

Kaylee had her birthday today. How time flys. Daddy came home early and took care of the boys so Kaylee could have a special date with mommy. We went to the library and borrowed a few Dr. Seuss Books and a couple of DVD's . Then she went swimming and had ice cream after that. She also got a few presents today. Then we went to the store and she got to pick out some stuff she wants for her party on saturday. We love our little girl and we're very proud of her.

Things Kaylee love:

  • Loves pink and green
  • Loves to read, do homework and swimming

  • Loves to help especially in the kitchen. Cooking, scrubbing the counter and the stovetop are her favorite

  • Loves to go shopping with mommy and go swimming with daddy ( only because mommy doesn't know how to swim!).

  • Loves to play with her cousins and our neighbor Allison

Kaylee doesn't like:

  • tomatoes ( she's a Hamblin)

  • picking up all the toys by herself.

  • wearing black.

Funny Things Kaylee does/says:

  • she poops in mommy and daddy's bathroom sometimes because according to her she doesn't want her bathroom to get dirty and stinky.

  • " Next time, I won't mess up my bed so that I don't have to make my bed in the morning".

  • She is an excellent negotiator. She won't stop until she can get what she wants. Hmnn... must have gotten it from Josh.

  • She wants to play the "Quiet Game" whenever mommy sings along in the car:) I guess she's not a fan.

Now that She's five:

  • She decided she can put herself to bed from now on.

  • She thinks she can say things like, "when are we selling our house so we can buy a bigger house?" ( hey, atleast it didn't come from me)

Happy Birthday Kaylee. She is so cute. Jason has been asking every week when we can go to the library. But, the hours are so weird. Thank goodness for summer.

I thought about Kaylee yesterday on her birthday. Kaylee is such a wonderful girl. So bright and helpful! I don't like wearing black, either, so I am with her on that!
