Kaylee's flip-floppin' time with her friends

We had Kaylee's birthday party today. We invited too many but she had a wonderful time. I was a litlle bit overwhelmed since Josh wasn't there to help ( he had to take a detour to the Emergency Room on his way back from Home Depot this morning because he was having a lot of backpain. Turned out to be kidney stones. Ouch! Poor guy, He missed his daughter's party) There were about 15 kids in my small house plus adults. Just imagine the noise. Good thing Our friend Bill Gage and Robin were there to help me with the games. Thank you so much guys. I could not have done it without you.
Here's all about the party:

Kaylee and I had so much fun making these invitaions:) Well, Kaylee wanted a pool party originally so that's how I came up with the idea. I searched through my scrapbooking stuff and found some materials we could use. I was so proud of myself cause I didn't have to spend anything on invitations. And they turned out pretty dang cute:)

Holly made these Cute cupcakes for Kaylee. Everybody was impressed! Great Job Holly! Thank you so much:) I have to buy that book. I am disappointed Costco doesn't have them anymore.

So here are some videos and a slideshow of the party. As I've said we were supposed to have a pool party at Persimmon Golf Club but that fell through ( turned out their kiddy pool was so small for the number of toddlers we invited and their party room was way too small as well. So we decided to do a waterslide party in our backyard but that didn't happen either because of Oregon's unpredictatble weather. .. Oh well, the show must go on... I'm actually glad that we did indoors. I probably would have freaked out if I had muddy footprints on my floor.

I had a hard time keeping track of who gave which present because all of the kids kept giving their presents to her. I thought it was cute how excited they were to find out what's in the bag. She got a lot of princess staff, barbies and arts and crafts. She also got clothes, a Halloween costume, and a tennis racket from daddy. He's really excited to teach her how to play this summer. He bought one for me and Caleb too. Something to look forward to this Summer at the Club.

I'm glad the party was a hit. Are you planning a party for Ethan in a few weeks? We can make him some cute cupcakes too.
