KIDS STUFF

You'll like thia Holly:)

We went to a Baptism last Saturday and Caleb and Kaylee saw these three sister missionaries signing (one of them is totally deaf). When the service was over, Kaylee, after being shy for a few minutes came up to them and signed "What's your name?" to one of them. So they were signing back and forth. "my name is...", "how are you?". Kaylee then finger spelled her name and then in the end she signed" nice to meet you", so cute. Caleb on the other hand kept doing" signing time" to the one who was totally deaf, he was so excited it made her laugh:)

Love letters...

I started writing to Kaylee every Wednesday when I go to work. I just love to watch her happy face as she reads my letter... Then for the last couple weeks she has been writing me back.

Moms have Good days and Bad days...

Having three kids is tough. I really try to count my blessings more so that I don't get burnt out. Last Sunday at church the kids were so rowdy we had a hard time listening to the speakers and keeping them quiet at the same time. It was so bad that I had to take Kaylee out of the building for a time out. I was frustrated because I felt like I wasn't getting anything from going to church but then I remembered what my friend's mom told her one time when she was feeling the same way. Her mom said that our job as parents is to take our children to church every Sunday no matter what, even if we feel like we didn't learn anything at all. I felt better after.
I had a better day today though, Kaylee and Caleb were helping me clean the house and didn't even asked to watch TV. They had fun dusting the furniture. I told Kaylee that I'm going to start paying her for doing her chores well so that she can buy her own toys. She deserves it. My favorite is when she asks me: "mommy, what can i do to help you?". She got that from josh:) She always makes her bed everyday now and she likes doing it after breakfast. Sometimes I have to remind her and she always says, "thank you for reminding me, mommy".

We love to sing Country...

Our older two's favorite Country song is "Here" by Rascal Flatts. Here's a video of them singing it. You might not recognize the song because they have such good harmony ( it's really bad but they're still cute), You can click on it in my play list
