We waited a little longer to bless Ethan because we wanted my brother
Vicson to be a part of it. It was sure nice to see him in the circle.
You'll never guess how
stressful it was to find an outfit for Ethan. I went to every store in the mall and
babies R us but didn't find what I like. The hardest part was shopping with three kids. I'm sure some of you understand why that stresses me out. Anyway, a friend of mine
suggested Segals for children in
Beaverton. They have what I like( can't describe it... not the silky and elaborate stuff). I asked Josh to go look at it. They were really cute but they're over 50 bucks! Josh said," There is no way we're gonna spend that much money for something he'd wear for an hour". Amen to that! So I decided
Ethan can wear Caleb's blessing outfit. Good thing , it turned out to be a
little chilly
Sunday morning so it worked out well:) Sigh! I wasted so much time ...and gas, shopping.
On a good note, We went with our
neighbor to the pirate Festival last Saturday ( just me and the kids) while Josh and
Kuya Vicson Worked on putting the shed together ( which Josh bought 3 months ago!). We, ( my neighbors and I) were one among the very few who
weren't dressed like a pirate. Oh well,
at least the kids wore pirate costumes. But that was really fun. After that we went to see the corn maze ( that was fun too) but my favorite was the Cow train ride. Kaylee said, " mommy, this is so much better than the roller
coaster!" The kids loved playing on the hay pyramid. Ethan mostly slept through it all. When we got home at 5:30, There still wasn't a shed put up. What happened?
Hmmmm... Let's just say, the directions were too difficult to follow:) Poor Josh. Bless his heart:) see pics below.
